The Green Walnut environment is prepared to promote our children’s growth in all areas of development. The toddler class is different from pre-schooler as per the space required for them to explore at their own pace.

These orderly class room are stimulating for children to independently try and answer ‘What can I do with this’

Classroom Designed To Instinct Desire For Exploration
Meticulously designed environment, carefully designed learning materials and child sized furniture and equipment for the size of the child’s hand are some of the characteristics of Montessori prepared environment found at Green Walnut.

Teacher As Guide
Our teachers are trained to be keen observer and guide (rather than an instructor) allowing the child to choose and explore in an orderly environment, most importantly at their own pace and driven by their own desire to learn and experience.
Environment Of Calm And Concentration
In our calm and peaceful environment, children would be totally absorbed in an activity, they have chosen themselves.
Extended period of learning provides child uninterrupted time to master simple and practical skill in preparation for advancing to more complex and abstract activities, catering toward every child’s age and ability.

Connection with nature is integral part of Green Walnut, it fosters creativity, in-stills peace and harmony with the world around us.
Our teachers aim to reap the benefits of outdoor as an opportunity to provide richer learning environment, social interactions and natural play. This would foster love and excitement about the nature.
Encouraging Growth While Providing Protection
Safety of our children is the paramount priority
Along with physical safety, our classrooms are a fundamentally safe environments, where the child does not fear “being yelled at and scolded,” does not become dependent on an adult for direction, nor seek adult attention.
Our children are free and motivated to explore the world for their overall development.

Mixed Age Groupings
Mixing older and younger students makes the learning environment successful.
Older children become the role models for the younger ones and love to share their knowledge with younger ones, who would then emulate their achievements.
Older children take the roles of mentors, which in-turn boost their confidence, while younger learners feel cared for and included.
Security First
Security procedures are strictly adhered.
All our entrances require added security checks. And visitors are met at the door and must show photo ID.
Administrative staff can access children’s key information when required, including medical history and approved names for drop-off and pick-up.

Parents Education And Group Experience
We believe parents are the first teacher for the child and no one can better understand the child than the parent themselves.
At Green Walnut we welcome parents to share their experiences and plan child’s journey.
Above all we are eager to help, to share our knowledge of children development and needs. As the growth and development of child is not limited within our premises, it shall continue at home too.
